You are going to need the following information to create custom name servers.

Note: Replace openhosttest.com with your actual domain name such as yourdomainname.com or yourdomainname.co.nz


To create custom name servers, please follow these steps.

Step 1. Log into your Control Panel and Select All My Domains from top right corner drop down box.

Step 2: Now click on All My Domains tab from top menu.

Step 3: Now select the your domain from list of domains you wish to create custom name servers for and go to DNS Zones tab.

Step 4: Click on New Record to create a new A-Record

Step 5: Creating an A-record for your first name server

Step 6: Repeating steps 4 and 5 Creating an A-record for your second name server

Step 7: Create a new NS record

Step 8: Creating the NS record for your first name server

Step 9: Creating the NS record for your second name server

Step 10: Delete your old NS records

Note: These changes will take 1 to 2 hours to take effect over the internet.
