DNS Settings for Email-only Hosting Plans

These instructions are intended for email-only subscriptions where your domain's Name Servers are hosted by a third party

  1. To obtain your mail server's IP address - log into the Plesk Panel
  2. Choose your hosting plan from the Subscription drop-down box (top right)

  3. Click the the Website & Domains tab toward the top-left of the page

  4. Note the IP address below the name of your hosted domain

  5. You will need to log in to your DNS host's management panel to add the following records or advise their support staff of them:

       
    HostnameTTLClassTypePriorityTarget
    mail.<your domain name> 3600 IN A   <your IP address>
    webmail.<your domain name> 3600 IN CNAME   mail.<your domain name>
    <your domain name> 3600 IN MX 0 mail.<your domain name>

  6. Note: Replace instances of <your domain name> with your actual domain name, and instances of <your ip address> with the IP address obtained from the Plesk Panel
