Who should use "Transfer existing" option in our store?

Please use this option if:

  • You want to get a hosting plan with us for your website and email and
  • You want to transfer your domain name

Who should use "Use existing domain, registered elsewhere" option in our store?

Please use this option if:

  • You want to get a hosting plan with us for your website and email and
  • You do not want to transfer your domain name and
  • You do not want to make any DNS change and
  • You want to check if your website will work on our servers before you do the DNS / Domain transfer.

Who would use the "Create Subdomain" option from our store?

Please use this option if:

  • You don't want to register their own domain name and
  • You only want to pay for hosting
  • You want to use one of our domains like 123abc.co.nz, dnserver.net.nz or virtuozzo.co.nz

Through this process, you will be getting a subdomain through us like "prefix.123abc.co.nz". The prefix can be anything that you like. You can have "yourname.123abc.co.nz" if you like. This is a free domain. You will only be paying for your website and emails. Your emails will be of "blah@prefix.123abc.co.nz" format.

NB: After you create an account in this method and then if you want to have your own domain name like "yourdomain.co.nz", then you will need to contact support to delete your subdomain account and then create a new account. In this process, all of the emails and website files will be deleted.
