Please be advised that on Wednesday, 23rd October the platform will be briefly down for maintenance. We expect very minimal impact for customers, less than 1 minute, however if delays occur this may extend to 15-20 minutes.

Please be advised that two of our hosting nodes are currently experiencing vast amounts of traffic being directed at them, causing a DDOS effect. We are implementing mitigations to restore service. Please bear with us while our engineers address the issues.

Dear Customers,

Upcoming Maintenance: Wednesday, 9 October 2019

Please note, we will be performing routine maintenance on our network on the night of Wednesday, 9 October 2019.

Selected legacy equipment will be replaced with newer devices, and we expect a short network interruption of a few seconds during the cutover process.

Updating this equipment will allow us to provide a more robust and resilient network for our customers going forward. If you have any questions, please contact our support team for more information.

Network Outage

Dear Customers,

We experienced an ongoing intermittent network connectivity issue since 9.15pm 27/08/19, which has affected all customers.  Our network engineers are working on resolving this and will get thing working as soon as possible.  We will inform you again shortly when all systems have been restored.

UPDATE: Outage has now been resolved.

We apologise for any inconvenience.

Customer Patching Notification

We are writing to advise that we are running a patch cycle on our servers over four hours during the following period: 

Start Time: Thursday 8 August 2019 at 11:00 pm NZST
End Time: Friday 9 August 2019 at 2:00 am NZST 

This work is being undertaken to ensure our servers are protected against vulnerabilities. We expect very little impact on our customers but there may be rolling restarts of services required during this time period.

17 July 2019
CUSTOMER UPDATE -- This server has now been fixed. Customers should now be back to normal website load speeds.

LP-003.platform.net.nz – Brute force attack

Please be aware that we are currently experiencing attacks aimed at this Server which hosts some of our customers Wordpress sites. We have put mitigation measures into place, but the server is running with very high workloads. We are monitoring the situation and are reaching out to our upstream network provider to assist us with upstream traffic blocks. We will advise when a permanent fix is in place. Sites are working but might be experiencing slightly slower than usual load speeds.
