How to create or delete an FTP user and reset its password?

Overview. In this article, you will learn how to add or delete a ftp user and how to reset the password into your Umbrellar Hosting Plan.

  1. Log into your Control Panel.
  2. Click now on the Hosting Plan tab, then on My Solutions.
  3. Click now on the name of the concerned Hosting Plan.
  4. In the opening page, go to the FTP user section, then click on the Add FTP user button. A new textfield will appear where you can fill out the name of your FTP user

    NB: The password will be generated automatically, click on the Password button to see it or the Reset button to change it.
  5. In the opening page, go to the FTP user section. Click on the "X" next to the FTP user you want to delete.
  6. Go to the bottom of the page and click on Confirm Changes.
