How Can I Update my Domain Registration Contacts?
Posted by Tim Botherway on 27 August 2018 03:03 PM

Note: Be aware that changing domain contacts on an international domain like .com can lock the domain for 60 days preventing it from being transferred.

1. Once you log in to your account, select ‘Services’ along the top heading.

2. In your list of domains, next to the domain you want to alter, select ‘Manage’.

3. At the bottom of the page will be ‘Change Account Contacts’ click on this to make the necessary changes

4. This is mostly the same screen as clicking on the ‘Details’ heading. As your account contact information is tied to your domain, so your primary email address for the account will also be your registration contact.

Once you fill out your new details, select 'Save' to submit the changes.

FAQ:

I updated my .com domain, and now it's locked can I unlock?

No way around this as its a regulatory requirement, you must wait the 60 days for it to expire.  We can still assist you with any DNS changes providing the nameservers are with us.

I keep getting an error saying the details are incorrect?

This is usually from the phone number, make sure each area is separated  correctly e.g. +64 21 111111
