1. Once you log in to your account, select ‘Services’ along the top heading.

2. In your list of domains, next to the domain you want to alter, select ‘Manage’.

3. In the green banner, you should see ‘Name Server Records’ click on this to go to the next screen.

4. This by default will open to the basic view, here you can make changes to A, CNAME & MX records. If you want more record types like TXT, SRV, AAAA click on ‘Advanced View’ at the bottom.

DNS Examples:

A. Change my domains A record to 119.47.115.135

B. Add a CNAME verify.domain to point to ext-squarespace.com

C. Add the mx record for my domain to ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM

FAQ:

How long will it take for changes to come into effect?

You can set the TTL values, in the ‘Advanced View’, however in most cases DNS changes are done within the hour. Use https://www.whatsmydns.net to check when it’s complete (all servers have green ticks).

How do I setup an SPF record?

In ‘
Advanced View’ you can setup TXT records which is how SPF’s are set. By default all our hosting services will have an spf included, however if you want to create your own a useful tool is https://www.spfwizard.net/

Note: Take note of our provided DNS templates, these will include records for G-Suite, Squarespace, Wix and URL redirections. You can find it at the top right of basic view:
