Adjust the Domains4less Mail Spam Filter
Posted by Tim Botherway on 11 December 2018 12:06 PM

First login to your Mail Control Panel, see here on how to:

1. Once you’re in your mail Control Panel you can select the ‘Manage Accounts’ tab at the top. Then select the name of the email you want to adjust.

2. In the account settings, select ‘Advanced Options’ to bring up the spam filter configuration.

By default the spam filter will be set the to the following:

Tag: 5

Refuse: 10

Spam is defined by how many points it accrues from the spam definitions list. Therefore the more points, the more severely a message is deemed as spammy. If you want to make your spam filter stronger, you must LOWER the number, to allow fewer points being accrued.

Dropping it by 1 point and monitoring it for 24 hours is a good way to help tweak the filter. To save the changes simply hit ‘Submit’ at the bottom of the page.
