How can I upload my website to my hosting account?

Before you start uploading your website understand the basic Skeleton Structure of your web hosting directories. Please see the image below.

You need to upload your web hosting files into httpdocs directory.

 

 

There are several methods to upload your website files to your hosting plan.

 

Method 1. FTP (Recommended)

 

Step 1. Download and install FileZilla FTP client to upload you website via FTP. Click here to download FileZilla.

 

Step 2. Now open FileZilla and enter following information and click Quickconnect.

  • Your Domain Name or Host IP Address
  • Username
  • Password

 

Step 3. Once in on Remote Site go to httpdocs. Now select all the file and folder you want to upload to your web hosting. Now Right click then click Upload.

 

Step 4. Now confirm if you files have been uploaded as show in image below.

 

 

 

Method 2. Plesk Control Panel

 

Step 1. Click here to log into your Plesk Control Panel and login using your Email and Password

 

Step 2. Choose your hosting from the Subscription drop-down box (Top Right)

 

Step 3. Now click on Files tab.

 

Step 4. Now click on httpdocs folder on left hand side and then click on Upload Files button. A new file browser window will appear now.

 

Step 5. Now select the files that you want to upload and click Open. You can upload Multiple Files at a time but not Directories or Folders. You have to create them by clicking on New button.

 

Step 6. Please confirm if your files have been uploaded to httpdocs directory.
